Yesterday, Sunday April 28th, we played
and lost to Hannover, 2012 German Champions with a score of 24-8.
There’s not much to say. As predicted the game was intense, however,
it was disappointing for all of us on the team. We worked hard, and the
game’s result was far from what we wanted. Many of us agreed that it
was not the loss of the game that was disappointing as much as it was
the amount that we lost by.
However, Hannover is not an
unbeatable team. The first part of the first half proves that we can
not only match up with them but also control the pace of the game. With
5 weeks to the playoffs we all expect to take our physical conditioning
and skills to another level in order to make it to the DM; Coach Bob
Eakins will ensure that. Hard work and determination could get us
another chance to face Hannover and come out as the victors.
